Roberta’s Place, Sanctuary in the Pines

Roberta's Place is a private getaway that provides all you need for a great stay in Flagstaff, no matter your reason for visiting. Roberta's Place is named after Jacob's late mom. She was such an inspiration to all she knew and our hope is that her legacy may live on with a memorable trip to Flagstaff.
The space, Roberta's Place, is a fully functioning one bedroom apartment complete with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and washer and dryer. It is built on to the back of our home. You will park in our driveway (1 space provided) and walk along the house to your own private entrance.
Guest access
The entire space is closed off and private from our primary residence. We are on site should you need assistance, but there are no shared spaces besides the driveway and patio.
Other things to note
We are a family with kids that live on the property. We do our best to keep any noise to a minimum. Our kids enjoy meeting new friends, should you have kids too!
Our customers tell us they can't get enough of this apartment's great location. During your stay, you're just a quick walk from Bushmaster Park. The apartment offers free WiFi and a kitchen.

Cozy stay in Flagstaff
The listing is exactly as described. The bed is very comfortable and the couch was comfy for sleeping on as well. The location is quiet. Our only snag was the code for check in was wrong so we had to wait outside for a while until we heard back with the correct code. Overall, it was a good experience and we would recommend this Roberta’s Place.

Perfect place to stay in Flagstaff
Perfect place to stay when visiting Flagstaff and surrounding areas. Especially for a visit to the Grand Canyon. Very cozy and comfortable place. And what a lovely view of the mountain just north of Flagstaff! The host had provided everything we needed and we felt this place to be like a home away from home. Thank you!

We found this little place while browsing for places to stay on a family trip to flagstaff. Roberta’s place had raving reviews, as well as a really great price so we decided to book. The little casita lived up to the reviews 100%. So much so my little brother said “let’s give them five stars” just after check in. It was stocked with basic necessities and made our stay wonderful. We will definitely book again!

Roberta’s place was sparkling clean upon our arrival. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable, quiet, and private. The location is perfect for visiting the sights of northern AZ, and close to groceries, restaurants and shopping. Our host was responsive and helpful. I would say it was probably my favorite VRBO experience.

We were delighted that we selected to stay here on the way to Phantom Ranch. Our hosts were very friendly and available for any questions we might have about our stay, including hiking suggestions in the area. They have outfitted Roberta's Place with just the right conveniences we need when traveling. Plenty of day hikes between Flagstaff and Sedona provided ample warm-up before heading to the base of the Grand Canyon.

Pros: Beautifully decorated Hot shower Comfy bed Kitchen nicely stocked with cooking tools, etc. Spotless, super clean I mean really super clean. Nice location Quiet Driving distance to Grand Canyon & Sedona Awesome hosts -- great attention to detail & communicative We spent our days hiking in Sedona and Grand Canyon. We loved the Sedona restaurants with beautiful views. Roberta's Place is a wonderful place to call home when visiting this beautiful area. We didn't want to leave! Cons: NONE! It didn't feel as though I chose Roberta's Place for our get away. It was more like it chose me.

Can’t beat the hospitality!
My fiance and I were only there for one night, but it was enough to know that we had found the perfect place to stay any time we visit in the future. The space itself was roomy, clean, and cozy. It had everything we would need for a one night stay or a week long stay. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed very safe, and it was only a short drive to downtown. The perfect distance to be able to drive the trails or drive/uber to downtown. What really solidified the 5 star rating was the service and communication. The host was very quick to reply and laid everything out very clearly. We woke up to inches of snow that came in overnight. We weren’t sure what to do in terms of clearing our car of all the snowfall and preparing to head out, but by the time I messaged the host asking for a broom or something to clear the snow they were already outside doing the work for us!!! Will for sure stay here in the future and we’d recommend it to anybody going to or through Flagstaff!
