Well maintained and great decorations for the holiday season. I hated not being able to park my own vehicle. VALET ONLY! Which I assume is a way to make the place feel poshy but the staff, especially the third shift concierge was rude and unprofessional, taking away from the feel overall. My first impressions of the overall niceness of the hotel was diminished with my interaction with the concierge. She had an entitled attitude with a belittling tone. In the first morning going to breakfast, it was 6am, I found out the breakfast was closed by pulling on the doors handle. Same concierge yelled all the way across the lobby to rudely say not once but twice that the breakfast does not open until 7. McDonalds it is.... I will likely stay again, but that concierge really should be demoted to room service or kitchen staff or educated on the level of people she is interacting with. I may have been dressed like a slob coming from the horse facility but just because I was not dressed well, does not mean that I do not fit in the clientele base.

It’s beyond beautiful makes ya feel like royalty sucks the only parking option is valet. $6 day parking $19 overnight. But other than that. Ugh absolutely amazing

We spent 2 nights in the Rawson suite and it was great. Very clean, comfortable bed. I’m originally from Findlay and came back for a class reunion in downtown Findlay. Several walkable bars and restaurants. Highly recommend and will stay here again for sure.

The Hancock Hotel is a first class non chain hotel centrally located in downtown Findlay. It’s spacious well appointed with wonderful staff and easy access to freeway and all amenities of Findlay. Superior hotel at a very reasonable price.

Have always had a great stay here, and beds are very comfortable, but this last time the housekeeping prep of the room was not up to their usual standards…as though someone had used the room. One of the coffee cups was used, crumbs on the chair, and hardly any towels in the bathroom. It made we wonder how clean the rest of the room was. It was a quick Sunday night stay and didn’t notice these things til morning. I told the front desk when we checked out. They said they would tell the management. Never heard anything back.
