Summary:
This cozy apartment in the heart of Downtown Fargo is perfect for business travelers, people just passing through town, or parents visiting their college kids. There is a full kitchen, beautiful shower, and three twin beds (two in one room could be moved together).
The Space:
This cozy apartment is on the lower level of a hundred-year-old building in Downtown Fargo. It's just blocks from breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, parking garages, and one block off Broadway. There are stairs (15 of them) with double railing to get to the basement (there is no elevator). There are no windows in the apartment as it's in the basement. It gets very dark when the lights are turned off.
There is no reserved parking. Street parking is available on all of the streets and avenues around the building, just keep an eye on the time limits. There is a parking garage 1 block north on Roberts Street (called Robert's Garage). Parking is free for the first 2 hours and only metered 8am to 5pm weekdays. Parking on the street directly in front of the Condo is 90-minute parking from 8am to 5pm weekdays and is free.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole apartment. There is not access to laundry unless it is an extended stay.
The Neighborhood:
This cozy apartment is located in the heart of downtown Fargo. There are breweries, restaurants, bars, and shops within 1 block of the building. Walk out the door and turn to your left (south) and the first street you come to (1st Ave N) will have a brewery, German restaurant (sausage, beer, pierogi, pretzels, etc.), American restaurants, and nightlife/dancing. Turn to the right (north) and the next street (2nd Ave N) has craft coffee, American restaurants, Sushi, Poke, Italian, Chinese, etc..
I highly recommend Youngblood Coffee for breakfast and coffee and Wurst Bier Hall for dinner. If you're looking for something fancier, Mezzaluna is just two blocks to the north and has some of the best food in Fargo.
Getting Around:
Walking is definitely the best way to get around. Anything you need can be found within 3 blocks of the Condo. Uber and Lyft operate in the area and are quite reasonable. The city bus main terminal is 3 blocks away (search Google for "matbus"). There is also a bike share run by B-Cycle that has stations throughout downtown and the NDSU campus. The nearest station is 2 blocks away on the corner of Roberts Street and Northern Pacific (NP) Ave.
The airport is about a $12 Lyft ride away.
NDSU is 15-20 minutes by foot, $8 by Lyft, and 5-10 minutes by bike
Other Things to Note:
Please note: There are no windows in the unit. It can get very dark when the lights are off. The upside is that it is very private. There are plenty of lamps and lights to make it cozy :)
Interaction with Guests:
Your host, Noah, is available via call, text, and message before and during your stay.
