Escape to the serenity of Creekside Cabins. Whether you're a snowbird commuter looking for a quick overnight or need to unplug for the weekend, the "Bear Den" cabin is perfect. Located between I-77 and Hwy 52 this quaint cabin is the ideal location. Explore the Blue Ridge parkway, Hillsville (famous for the Flea Market), Galax and Mt Airy for unique finds, wineries, fishing, hiking and leisurely activities. Come experience the tranquility and fall in love with the beauty of Fancy Gap, Va.

This quaint cabin (The Bear Den) is situated only feet from the east fork of Little Reed Island creek. Sit on the porch and relax listening to the harmonious melody of the water cascading over the beautiful outcropped rocks, or open the windows and let the tranquil water sounds lull you to sleep. The layout is simple and decorated to establish a sense of bygone charm and relaxation.

Feel free to hike the gravel road, roam the nearby woods, or hop in the creek. We do live on the property and you may see us working around the land. We would like to kindly ask our guests not to enter the buildings or barns on the property .

We are constantly working hard to improve the property to better serve our guests. We are close to beginning our second cabin and are still in the process of driveway and parking improvements, so please pardon our "dust"

Wonderful little cabin on a clear, cold stream. Was great to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee and appreciate the view. Also appreciated having decaf coffee pods!

The cabin is absolutely perfect! We enjoyed our stay very much. The locations is great and the creek is beautiful. The hostess is wonderful and she paid attention to every detail. This cabin is very clean and well taken care of.

Cabin was great. Me, wife, and dog. Very nice, cute, well appointed. Stayed one night only on our way from SC to W Va , but could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again.

Cabin Reconnection

My wife and I enjoy staying at different cabins in the mountains of NC and VA. This is a very nice find for a couple who wish to have a quite place to reconnect. Conveniently located in Fancy Gap with Hillsville and Mount Airy a short drive away. For us, we enjoyed time at the Hillsville Flea Market with close friends and time for ourselves at the cabin. The cabin has a very nice deck overlooking a clean creek with a very relaxing sound. The host was readily reachable for any needs. We look forward in a return stay.

This property is located away from the town and on a large property which is what we were looking for. Very cute and well-appointed for a relaxing stay. Sat out on the porch overlooking the creek and a pasture with horses. Very quiet and peaceful after a long day of driving.

Beautiful, relaxing and clean. I just would have liked to stay longer and check out the creek to see if it held any fish (Trout) and would be productive for fly fishing. I owned a VRBO property in Robbinsville, NC so this was another opportunity to take advantage of the VRBO community.

This place was perfect..close to the highway and a cute little town near by to get a bite to eat .Hillsville. Everything was clean and laid out perfectly. Our puppy enjoyed swimming in the stream right in front of the cabin.thanks again for sharing your cute little cabin

We loved staying in the cabin on the creek! It was so thoughtfully designed and decorated and had all the amenities you would need. Many years ago, I lived in a little cabin on a creek in Whitefish Montana for about 4 years, and I had no plumbing, so this was really up-town! Having the Pit Stop right down the road was great too. Loved our stay. Thank you.
