Just don't. This place was scary. The area around the hotel is sketchy to begin with. The parking lot smelled like urine. The front desk clerk was behind a bank teller type window, I'm assuming for his safety. People were peeking out of their room windows. We had room #53. The room itself was large. The bed was fine. There was a small room that was probably a kitchen in a previous life that had a mini-fridge, microwave, and small table. The bathroom... cramped, but that was livable. There was a window above the toilet and bars on the outside of the window. The window slides open and where the opening was, the bar was missing! The window wouldn't lock shut. We took our stuff with us and thought about getting another room, but by the time we arrived back at the motel, it was late and we decided to tough it out. My husband took a tire iron from the car to wedge the window shut (like a dowel). You can hear footsteps very loudly from the room above. Using the remote and cable was a little tricky. The WiFi was great and we had no problems with it. Six-thirty in the morning, the person in the next room was blaring music and the base came right through the walls. There is no breakfast, like it says on the listing. There is actually a sign taped onto the glass at the front desk that says there is no breakfast offered. You can hear people clearly as they're walking past the room and talking. Turns out, we were fine, but it was a little nerve-wracking staying here.
