Some issues, but best bang for your buck in Fbks
Hotel is definitely showing its age, brand is owned by Carnival cruises, they should put some money into it. I don't think I've ever stayed in a room here that didn't have a clogged sink. Worse this trip was that I had almost no hot water in my shower. Bartenders at Red Lantern are always welcoming and hotel staff are attentive. Oh well, still best bang for the buck in Fairbanks.

When walking to our room for the first time, there was a dirty plastic glove on the floor for 2 days. carpet was dirty. Breakfast was not great. Don't like powdered eggs and the orange juice was so watered down. It tasted just like water. I've never been to any hotel where there was no Toast or biscuits. Lobby was clean and ok.

Staff were very kind and helpful. The Red Lantern restaurant is really great and location is very convenient. Room was a little outdated though, shower had bad water pressure, and toilet had slight issues flushing.
