In the hilly Veddinge Bakker is this large vacation home, its kitchen-living room, open terrace, two bathrooms with shower and with its four bedrooms. The area is located on the bay Sejerø, which in turn is blessed with a beautiful sandy beach. The hilly landscape was formed during the last ice age, it belongs to Odsherred and is a UNESCO Geopark. The highest elevation here, Vejrhøj, is an impressive 121 meters high and even offers a view of Roskilde Cathedral in the distance, which itself is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has impressive pointed steeples as well as a collection of sarcophagi of Danish kings. Absolutely worth mentioning in connection with Roskilde is also the Viking Ship Museum, should you plan a trip there. Back on the beach, you will find warm dune depressions for sunbathing and shallow bathing water for many kilometers. The north coast has several beautiful pebble beaches and on it is also the fishing town of Havnebyen with a good fishmonger.
