Why in earth was our accessible room as far from the lift as it could possibly be? A room for two people needs two chairs, not just one. Our fridge failed but was not repaired during our stay. Disabled parking was not by the entrance to the hotel. Why?

My husband and son stayed at the hotel to To break the trip to Cornwall. There was burning smell in the hotel and had apparently been a small fire in the upstairs restaurant so none of the lifts were working. However they had a second floor room so not much inconvenience. Overall stay was good and didn’t spoil it. Room was clean and breakfast good. Considering the fire my husband said the staff coped very well

Good base for the area
Clean and well maintained. Easy to drive to and loads of parking, though on a game night it probably gets very busy since it shares parking with a stadium. Parking costs £12 per night. Comfortable and spacious room. Its a convenient base if you're working in the area. Generally looked new but 2 of the 3 lifts were out of order.

Hotel was convenient and organised. Parking costs are additional. Room fine, bedding and bathroom new and good quality. Two out of three lifts not working but thankfully WiFi working after my last visit when it wasn’t!
