He wouldn’t even allow me to get the room. Since I booked 3rd party and not through their site. The price difference made it where I had to pay extra but that shouldn’t be the case as I said. The front desk employee “Yujah” was very rude, unprofessional, and kept wanting to See my personal information when he said he had it on his computer. IT HAS CHARGED $85.91 to my CARD! I wasn’t even able to check in. I’m contacting his branch’s support because it was so unpleasant and unprofessional.

I was there for two nights and the hotel seem to have been renovated and it was probably the nicest Howard Johnson's I've ever stayed in. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable and quiet. On the negative side, the pillows were so thick and heavy that it was impossible to sleep. There were two shuttle vans that advertised transportation but when I asked for a shuttle to drive just 1.5 Mi away, they refused and said they only went to and from the airport. Breakfast was okay but in 2 days the only hot food they had was biscuits and sausage gravy, which many Americans do not like including myself.

Affordable and comfortable
I visited Evavsville from the Northern California Wine Country, where we are accustomed to high standards in hospitality. The HJ does not come close to that, but it is not trying to be that. It was friendly, quaint, clean, and affordable. It also had a free breakfast of some of the best biscuits and gravy i have tasted, and i am originally a Midwest native. I would certainly stay there again.
