The rooms are dated and there is no television BUT this place has so many wonderful things, you should definitely go! The grounds are nestled in the mountains near Rocky Mountain National Park. The views are goregeous! The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flowers. There is so much to do. To mention just a few, there's miniature golf, horseback riding, archery, climbing walls, playgrounds, hiking, cookout areas, suspended bridges in trees to climb on, etc. There is an elk herd that visits every day and the massive bull is a sight to behold.
Who needs television? The only negative for me was the only restaurant on the premises. The Aspen Room. It's a buffet breakfast for about $15. The biscuits were old and hard. The grapefruit was sliced days ago. The rind was winkled and dry and the pulp had no juice. Over priced for what is offered. There are much nicer restaurants a short drive away.
This is a great place for families and singles. I was alone and had a wonderful time!
