This is the second time we have stayed. We come for concerts at The Stanley and don’t want to pay the high price to stay at The Stanley. This property is just down the hill from The Stanley and could be walkable if needed.

Very cozy updated cabin. Our only complaint was that the heating unit mostly blew cold air(even though it was on the highest setting) then at its best, it was barely warm. We were freezing at night and had no extra blankets. The fan was loud and went on and off all night keeping us awake. There were no cups even though the photos looked like there would be.

This place and room had an excellent location. The view was amazing. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely stay again if visiting Estes Park area

Comfortable bed, but poor breakfast.
It had a very comfortable bed. That is the most important part to me when I stay in a hotel. However, if i had known that I was going to have to walk outside about 200 ft To get to the “free breakfast” in the lobby. (It was in Jan. And below freezing.) I would not have stayed there.

This place is quaint and in a great location for walking around town. Views are nice, both east and west from our room. I love that it runs on solar. I have stayed before and really liked it. This time was not as great. Beds and pillows are really comfortable but chairs on balconies and in the room were not. Tv didn’t work and I didn’t get a response from them. Shower was a bit dirty, some hairs on the wall. Breakfast was very limited and I had to ask for things to be refilled including coffee in the machine. There were hardly any customers yet none of the dining tables were wiped down. Overall average stay.

Economy stay without the economy feel.
For the price of 57.00 per night it was a lovely stay. I always appreciate a property that doesn’t douse with toxic cleaning chemicals yet was still a clean room. Rooms have a nice view of Estes Park and easy access straight out the door which makes it very pet friendly. Continental breakfast was like a gas station selection though. And the queen sized bed was the smallest queen I’ve ever been in but very comfortable overall. Room service is by request only so it was an uninterrupted stay with my husband and dog. We will stay here again in the summer and hike Gem Lake trail!

Gross rooms - dont stay here!
Room was gross with stains on the floor, rusted drain and broken headboard. Room had a dispenser for body wash and shampoo (not separate, supposed tobthe same stuff), but mid shower learned it was empty! Spoke to front desk and was told management would contact me but they never did. Do not stay here its gross and has terrible service. Total dive motel!

Dont stay here!
This place is a dive! Literally the worst and most disgusting rooms Ive ever stayed in. My room had stains on the floor, a broken headboard and a rusty drain plug in the bathroom sink. Spoke to the front desk at checkout and was told someone from management would be in touch, but nobody contacted us. Dont stay here!

The room itself was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. But if you’re downstairs you hear everything if someone is above you, and I mean everything! The entrance/exit is not marked at all and easily missed. Could just be time of year, but parking lot full of potholes.

This property wasn’t what I was expecting at all. The pictures on Expedia made it look like I was getting a double queen cabin with a full kitchen, when in reality it was a standard double queen hotel room. Because it didn’t have a full kitchen I had to cancel our reservation. We only stayed one night, but the property was well kept. The room was clean, and the receptionist was kind and understanding. My only complaints are that the room sliding glass door was extremely difficult to unlock/lock, and it was terribly noisy due to the neighbors above. Over all if you need a centrally located hotel and easy access room this place will work well.

Good, comfy feel
The major complaint was we were not able to check in until 5 pm However they made it right & discounted our stay Great views, comfy bed & small cabin feel. Panoramic views with many windows. Heat good, bathroom good but it is not a huge room But we were happy.
