Semi-secluded 3 Bed, 2 bath Family Villa with Pool & Gardens

This wonderful villa is situated on Urb. Don Pedro, one of the best Urbanisations in Estepona. It offers well maintained tranquil accommodation perfect for families with 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 furnished with a Kingsize bed (150cm) and the 3rd with twin beds which may be zipped together to make a 180cm bed. Each room contains built in cupboards. There is also a fold-up bed that can be added to the twin room as well as a cot and high chair.
There are 2 bathrooms, a lounge/dining area with quality furniture and 37 inch satellite TV with Blu-ray player.
A kitchen furnished with an American style fridge/freezer, double oven, 4-burner gas hob, washer/dryer and dishwasher. From the sink there are also panoramic views of the western Mediterranean, Gibraltar and the North African coast. With a terrace offering shade from the sun complete with 6 seater teak table, a fridge for your drinks and a BBQ. The terrace also provides access down to the 8 metre x 4 metre swimming pool with steps providing easy access to the water. Around the pool is a sunbathing area with sunloungers, umbrellas, an outside shower and toilet. Sunlounger and seat cushions are contained in the terrace storage unit.

Please Note that the villa is situated within a residential area and there are strict noise controls. The villa is NOT suitable for party groups and the police WILL be called if noise exceeds limits.

Shopping and Browsing: Estepona marina with it's pretty shops, bars and restaurants is close by and the typically Spanish Estepona Old Town is 5 minutes away. Puerto Banus and Marbella are 20 minutes away with their exclusive boutiques and department stores. Open-air markets are extremely popular, and they include Puerto Banus (Saturday), Sabinillas (Sunday morning), Sotogrande (Sunday afternoon), and Estepona (Wednesday).
Enjoy all the busy life of Estepona and come back to the peace and tranquillity of Casa Lechuza.

Selwo Park: Just 12 kms away, about 10mins by car, is the Selwo Adventure park with it's lions, giraffes, zebra and other animals. Take a safari and see the animals roaming free.

Casa Lechuza ……. Now La Gaspara
Unfortunately our holiday was very disappointing and not as enjoyable as we would expected. The swimming pool water turned green and was left unattended for two days despite owner promising to send someone out to clean. He also commented that we could use the pool as long as we just rinsed off thoroughly after use. Our 11 year old granddaughter cut her foot getting out of the pool on one of two broken tiles on the steps of the pool. Our shower did not drain so we were forced to stand in our own wastewater. The owner stated that this was because the waste pipe was too small a gauge and would be too big and timely a job to put right. The parasol for the garden was broken and un usable and the sun bed cushions were so dirty that it was an insult to suggest that clients could have the use of them.The single bed was unstable and rickety such that our granddaughter had to sleep on the sofa each night. We also asked to wait in for delivery of a dishwasher which we did, despite the delivery not happening and instead arriving on another day altogether, where we were then expected to wait in while installation took place. This was our holiday and requests such as this are totally unwarranted.Finally it should be noted that we did not have use of either washing machine or dishwasher, as advertised for use, for the entire duration of our stay. To conclude, we have photographic evidence to support the above.

Our holiday
Lovely place to stay, quiet and relaxing. Pool is great. There are a couple of restaurants near by but you will need a car or public transport to get to the main part of Estepona. Beach is about a five minute walk away, just over the bridge. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Villa itself is basic but very clean outside area is lovely couldn’t get our son out of the pool. Burger King, chemist and supermarket within 5 min walk. If you cross over the rd and walk between nudist resort and hotel and turn left you can walk along the beach all the way to the port with restaurants and bars. Would have been nice if someone had greeted us at villa and told us about local area as we only realised we could walk all the way down a couple of days before leaving. Martin was great with communication though.

Exactly as advertised. Lots of room and privacy. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds. The pool was a great touch. Made my day to have a swim everyday. Green space within the yard. Close to a couple reasonable supermarkets. Access to downtown Estepona is an hours walk or a five minute drive. Nice town; lots to see and do. Numerous small places to stop for tapas and a drink. Wonderful villa
We are a family of four and stayed here for a week. The house was fantastic - had everything we needed and more. The air-conditioning was very welcome and the house has been well designed so there is a nice breeze flowing through the lounge area . The pool was wonderful, and with a number of umbrellas and loungers, there was always somewhere in the shade. The shady terrace offered a nice cool area in the heat of the day. Location-wise, it is a quiet and tranquil area. There are two supermarkets and a beach in easy walking distance. The beach was much less busy than the main Estepona beaches, which suited us. We didn't have a car, and had thought that we might be able to walk into town, but that wasn't really feasible due to the distance, heat and lack of pavements. However, there was no problem using Uber and taxis - around €10 depending on where in the town we went to. The restaurants nearby that other reviewers have mentioned have closed down, but there is Burger King and two restaurants at the nearby Hotel Elba (we didn't use any of these as preferred to barbecue or go into Estepona). Martyn was very helpful with the booking, process and helped us organise transport from the airport. All in all, we ha a lovely time and would happily return!

Wonderful holiday home
This was our first trip to Spain and it was a wonderful experience. Martyn was very prompt on answering any queries we made during the time we made the booking and the time we arrived. The villa was very well equipped, clean and cosy. The pool was great and the children loved it. We were glad that we did ask for the pool heating as this is not the warmest month in Estepona and there were couple of gloomy days. The property is situated in a very convenient location with two/three minute drive to two supermarkets (10 min walking). There are couple of restaurants that you can walk to but due to the season has not yet kicked in, they were closed. Anyway between the two supermarkets mentioned earlier there is a Burger King that is opened till late. Alternatively with 10 mins drive you can get to Estepona city centre and you have plenty of places to eat, shop etc. We would definitely recommend Casa Lechuza as a wonderful holiday home in Estepona.

Lovely Estepona
The villa is in a good quiet residential location which is a good 20 minute walk from the town centre. There are local supermarkets but no buses into Estepona from Don Pedro. The outside area including the pool is very good. Apart from a well equipped and excellent kitchen the rest of the villa is in need of up-dating. The agent for the house, Maria, was extremely helpful and hands on. If the interior was done we would be happy to return.

Lovely family villa
Lovely villa for a family stay. 10 minute drive to the marina and restaurants etc. A walk to the beach over a footbridge across the main road. Supermarket 2 minutes away. Pool guy visited a few times to make sure the pool was looked after. Everything as stated in the details. Lovely!

Excellent location with everything you need
We enjoyed our holiday as a family of five. The villa was large enough to give each of us space to chill out. The location is excellent with easy access to the A7 allowing us to travel to a range of places. We were then able to return and enjoy the pool later in the evening. Hope to visit again.

Lovely cosy home in a great location
We had a great week in Casa Lechuza it was a real home from home. We paid for pool heating which was a must for the January weather. It took a few days but when it was fully up to temperature it was like a warm bath. It is very private and in a quiet urbanisation very near to reasonably priced golf courses and 5 minutes to the lovely town of Estepona. A real gem of a house for a very reasonable price.

Fantastic villa with everything you need for a great holiday
Good location for self catering, with two big supermarkets near by. We were a litte out of town but we knew that before hand and taxis are cheap as there were four of us. There used to be three restaurants near the villa but now only one is open but we just ate in some nights and went to the town the other nights. The port is a little closer than town but much more expensive. The private pool is a good size with plenty of sun beds and shade if you need it. There is a terrace with a big table and an outside fridge for a handy pool side drink. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need for your stay and is a great size with a big fridge/freezer. All three bedrooms have air con (though this can be a bit noisy) and plenty of storage. The welcome basket of milk, bread, butter, juice, water and cava was a nice suprise and very appreciated. We had one issue with the water pump breaking down but Tony was there straight away and fixed it. He is a great guy and knows a lot about the local area. The whole villa was spotless and well maintained and we'd certainly recommend it to anyone. We took the bus to Gibraltar for a day trip but it's not a nice place and you'd be better off going to Ronda. We'd recomment Casa Del Rey in the town but you need to book for evernings.

Well-maintained and comfortable holiday home
We were met on arrival by Martyn's local agent Maria who showed us around and gave us some local tourist advice. The villa was exactly as described, clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Spent most of the time in/around the pool but we did venture out to the Wednesday morning street market in Estepona, the nearby 'white village' of Casares and Peurto Banus. Karaking on the Guadiaro in Sotogrande was good fun too. We would highly recommend the villa. Thank you Martyn, Maria and the other people who keep the pool and garden in perfect condition.

We loved our stay at this villa would definitely go back kids loved all the pool stuff left to play with only thing I would say would be better if they left out lights on for people arriving late as it is very dark would have loved a few little bars near by but seen they are doing loads of building up so would love to see it more busy lovely place to visit the port is lovely u need to get taxi to it tho and theyou only hold 4 people we are a family of 5 so needed two thanks for having our family

A very well equipped villa and excellent value for money
Casa Lechuza ia a well appointed, well equipped and comfortable home-from-home. Tucked away at the end of a drive that serves just Casa Lechuza and the villa next door, it is both quiet and private. The location, layout and amenities and just as described in the listing. The property was clean and tidy and Martyn, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful. Martyn's local agent, Maria, was also extremely helpful. I would thoroughly recommend thus villa as being well very good value for money. Thank you Martyn.
