We have stayed here three times now. We like the area, the ease of access and the convenience of the little restaurant so close for breakfast, and a discount coupon to boot! Staff is always friendly.

Was a nice place to stay. Room was large, we had a room with 3 queen beds to accommodate our family of 5. Room was so spacious even with the 3 beds and our luggage.

It was right next to a family restaurant, we had the family style chicken and it was delicious. Chicken was moist and tender very good flavor to the breading. It came with coleslaw, dressing mashed potatoes, and very tasty gravy, a roll and a scoop of ice cream for dessert

UP State Fair

We traveled here for the UP State Fair. The room was very nice and clean and close to the fair grounds. Our stay was wonderful.

This motel was on my US2 route home. It had a restaurant next door for late arrival bite and early morning breakfast. The AC unit was loud but worked, the bed was too firm for me.

Older motel Sunset Lodge is not only neat, clean and very convenient it appears to have new owners. We found our room to have a completely updated bathroom with walk in shower and great lighting, the carpeting replaced with a lament floor. When visiting family on this side of the Yoop will definitely come back.

Love this hotel. It’s comfortable safe and friendly. I have stayed alone, with husband, and even with kids. I make it a point to land here for my half way mark traveling or with my husband for the fishing trips my husband thinks I love. I also love fact I can just back up to my door to unpack. There is also plenty of room to park a boat in the back. I’d also like to mention there is an amazing restaurant right next door.
