You will also have the opportunity to visit two other beaches (Boca Grande & Manasota) about 20 minutes North or South. Its about 2.5 hours to all the parks in Orlando. Bring your kayak! 1/4 mile direct access to Lemon Bay and the area is known as a kayakers paradise. Visit charming downtown Englewood where you can explore local shops, dine at restaurants and visit near my Indian Mound Park. Local planned events are common. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that are just moments from the shoreline! A county recreation center is just a mile away with free basketball/tennis/pickle ball courts. Englewood, Florida, is known for its beautiful beaches, particularly Englewood Beach and Manasota Key Beach. The area is also recognized for its charming small-town atmosphere, excellent fishing opportunities, and the annual "Englewood Pioneer Days" celebration, which showcases the community's history and culture. Additionally, the Lemon Bay Playhouse and Stump Pass Beach State Park are popular attractions in the area.
