Clean room. The place is showing some wear, I don’t mind that as long as they keep it clean and the Corning Inn did a good job in that department. They were accommodating for us as well, which I appreciated. They had originally put us in a 2nd floor room (no elevator) but upon seeing my son was disabled, moved us to a first floor room, despite them being fully booked that weekend.

Average motel
Corning Inn is a typical motel located just several miles from Corning. Offered decent simple breakfast complimentary. Check-in clerk did not correctly set electronic room key. He also surprisingly did not know how far the Corning main street was and was unable to recommend a restaurant apart from one nearby Applebys. We found several on our own downtown.

Check-in was quick and easy and the clerk friendly. The room and bathroom were neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. We didn't go to the breakfast that was provided because we were visiting family. At this affordable price we'll be back.

Good trip
I had a good stay here. It was bare-bones but as two female travelers we felt safe the entire time. Good place if youre on a budget and only need to stay somewhere for a couple nights. It was 30 mins from Watkins Glen which was perfect for our trip.

Nice basic hotel. Very clean, easy on and off of 86. Nice staff. Wish they had more secure locks on door, they have a dead bolt but that’s it, I like that second plate option too. But no problems there at all.

Property is old. AC vents were dusty . Wifi was non existent. Bathrooms dirty. People at the front desk and others who were managing the property kept staring at us making us feel uncomfortable. 1 star for the mattress , they were comfortable.
