Coastal Charm Cape- Close to Acadia!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our 4 bedroom home is spacious and can easily accommodate up to 8 guests. Located close to a local swimming hole, two oceanfront beaches and only 20 minutes to Acadia National Park! This home is truly the ideal location. Enjoy all Mount Desert Island has to offer, while be able to relax in a quiet setting every evening. Our home features a large open floor plan on the first floor. Our second floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths.

Lamoine is a wonderful small town offering access to beaches, a state park and more. Just a few steps up the road from the home is Blunt's Pond, a local favorite for swimming and kayaking! Ocean beaches such as Lamoine Beach, Lamoine State Park and Marlboro Beach are short drives from the home.

One of the reasons Lamoine is so popular with travelers is because of its close proximity to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. A short drive of 25 mins will get you onto the island and into the park. Guests enjoy being able to visit the island and park but then being able to get away from the crowds in the evenings.

Love the extras
We have done numerous rentals but none of them provided as much as this house. We usually have to buy TP, detergents, etc. We came from FL so we did not have any room to pack and it was a short trip but there were little packs that contained shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry soap for 1-3 loads which waa perfect for our stay. We met the owner who was very nice. It was a little warm upstairs in the rooms without the ac but the fans helped.

Desperately needs mildew taken care of
Misleading photos and description. House had visible black mold in foyer. Smelled musty/moldy the second you opened the door. All bathroom Fixtures were difficult to turn on and off. I had to purchase cleaner and Lysol and candels and air fresheners the place smelled horrible and we had - toddler and infant. The furniture in living room Was so old and smelly I didn’t want to put children in them. The bedding in all rooms but one wet stained and old. Not to mention flannel sheets on a bed in June with no air conditioner. I worked hard and spent money to make it smell better and washed the sheets Disgraceful when you pay over 500 a night and bedding was as old as the furniture. Even dining room chairs were shakily and cracked warped and split. Whoever the owner is should be ashamed

Great stay in Lamoine
My friends and I had a lovely stay in the Coastal Charm Cape in Lamoine! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we appreciated the amount of space there was in the living areas downstairs. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and get a hold of both before and during our stay. Thank you, Amanda! It would have been nice if the listing was more clear about the number of beds and bedrooms in the house. A few more floor lamps and area rugs in the bedrooms would have been appreciated as well.

Great property and location
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and not far from Acadia Park and Bar Harbor. Amanda was great with communicating and answering all our questions. We would definitely recommend to a friend!

Buona soluzione per famiglia numerosa. Casa spaziosa e molto comoda. Anche se non è di lusso, ben attrezzata. Arredamento non elegante ma c'è tutto il necessario. Buona posizione per tutte le gite. La raccomanderei.
