First the positives, the staff were friendly and the room was clean. I saw alot of cleaning going on in rooms so it appears they are doing a good job on cleaning.
The negatives, and they are huge.
I was in my room only about an hour laying on my bed watching TV when someone opened my door and started to walk in my room. This startled me quite a bit as I know I latched my door so whoever it was had a key to my room. When they saw I was in they they immediately left. I put my shoes on and stepped out in time to see the guy walking to the office. I went to the office and asked how someone just walked into my room. Apparently it was a hotel employee and they were checking to see if the room was active. How about you try knocking before you enter a room you aren't sure is occupied. That was completely unacceptable! The other issue I had was that the gap around the door was so big I could see light and the draft was so bad (it was in the 20's) that I had to stuff a towel in the gap to keep the cold air out. For the price there are too many other, better hotels in town so I won't stay there again. The only benefit I could see is if you have a pet there's no extra charge whereas most other hotels charge $15-$20 per pet extra. Other than that I'd stay somewhere else!
