High end hotel with excellent service and two nice restaurants but located in a remote area away from town. Our first room was less than ideal with a view facing a stone wall but they gave us a free upgrade to a trip,e room with a view off the lake.

The hotel is close to Lake Argentino with a nice view of the lake. The hotel has nice facilities, and the amenities are excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. Like most people we met in Argentina, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was worth every penny of the price.

Be careful of potential theft. Nice property, on the whole very nice staff. We caught maintenance trying to steal. Management took this pretty casually and had zero consideration that it ruined our day with very little in the way of offering something besides a meal.

We rented a car so can’t speak to other forms of transportation. The hotel was clean and in good repair. The staff at the restaurant very friendly. The hotel is not constructed of high quality materials but was put together well. Drinks were very expensive and on par with New York.. humm. Stayed in the one bedroom suite facing the lake. Breakfast was included and delicious. Would recommend and would stay again.

The property sits on a very scenic location with rooms facing the lake. That is the best part. However, the rooms are not maintained. Eg a broken arm rest of a chair that was just kept in place and falling shower head. Someone can be seriously hurt. The food is average. Breakfast is ways below par. The hotel staff is trained to ask for payment immediately when you place the order, not after you are served or ready to leave. It is really a cheap mannerism and very insulting for a so called high class resort. Under the guise of sustainability, they provide only a refilled bottle of water in the room, with written instructions that guest can refill in hotel lobby. Really? Heard of customer service or hospitality? And they sell plastic water bottles in the Bar for $3 each. The staff doesnt seem to like working there, and reflects in their dealing with the guests. Highly suggest some serious staff training and change in service attitude if you wish to attract clientele. You have a prime property, pls pay attention to service and dining!

La propiedad esta en una excelente localidad. Hermosa vista del lago y muy accesible a las areas turística. La propiedad está catalogada 5 estrellas sin embargo carece de muchas cosas para ser catalogada de esa categoria. Las habitaciones super sencillas sin ningún detalle de alta categoria. Lo mas importante el servicio al cliente era de categoria de hotel maximo 3 estrellas. Cuando llegamos nadie nos recibió en la entrada, no tenian personal para asisitir con las maletas ni dar una bienvenida personalizada como es de costumbre en un hotel da alta categoria. El servicio del desayuno tampoco era bueno. Muy poca atención de los empleados. En nuestro caso solo nos preguntaron el número de habitación y nunca se acercaron a ofrecer algo ni nada. Practicame era como si no hubiesen meseros para asisitir a los huéspedes. El menú demasiado limitado y de poca calidad. En resumen puedo decir qué es un hotel muy bonito pero no es un hotel 5 estrellas. Practicame entramos y salimos y nos sentimos completamente solos en el lugar durante las 2 noches que estuvimos alli. No recibimos ningún tipo de atención que nos hiciera sentir bienvenidos y que nos haga regresar al hotel en otra ocasion.

Nice hotel but shady extra charges
The place was nice but be aware that the room rate they advertise on Hotels.com is incorrect. And the reason they give you is a complete nonsense, in the end I paid 7% more which is not a lot but I don’t like being lied to, when I asked the front desk they deflected it on my credit card company (VISA) but they actually use they own exchange rate for foreigners … According to them the USD on the listing is only for Argentinian residents … nonsense…
