Normally love staying at the coast, they’re accommodating & great help. I went for Zach Bryan and was the 5th person in line for check in at 2:30, all guests before and after me were instantly given their room key to go upstairs and start getting ready for concert. I was told mine wasn’t yet and it shouldn’t be long (no problem ok) 1.5 hours go by and I call them from the lobby, they again say it shouldn’t be long till it’s clean, after another half an hour it’s 4:30 at this point and I’m feeling frustrated as the line up is MASSIVE and every single person in it is going straight to their room. I ask them to call house keeping and I’ll wait, and as soon as they get off the phone my room is all of a sudden ready. I understand it was busy I just wish a bit more initiative was taken, like calling house keeping after I checked in, instead of waiting 2 hours until I can up to front desk again and asked them to call. I received nothing for the frustration and waste of my time sitting in the lobby waiting for my room not knowing if I should leave and go eat, or start getting ready in their bathroom. I love the coast but this left a sour taste in my mouth this time

Check-in was slow
This hotel does not have enough parkong to accommodate all guests. Their parkade was completely full, and the parking across the steet was full. Check-in took an hour!! There were 4 check-in lines moving very very slowly, and the entire check-in process took 60+ minutes. As a result, we were rushed in order to have enough time to have supper prior to the concert. Compared to a recent check-in experience I had at a hotel in Saskatoon that took literally 2mins, this one was slow.

Great location in the Ice district. Staff was excellent. We were there when there were back to back concerts and the staff was slammed and the didn’t have sufficient parking.

Overall a really great experience. The concert had this place full at check-in and even with the long line, the check-in process was smooth. We requested extra pillows and they were brought to us quickly. Our only downside was the shower - the drain was clogged/very slow draining so showering was kind of gross.
