Booked this property because of its rotating restaurant and the fabulous view. Property was reasonably price and the location central. We would stay there again. The service at the desk was fantastic.

the pictures on the site make it look really nice. the picture of the room looked amazing. the pictures gave the impartation of a newer hotel or a revamped hotel. Sadly, as soon as i pulled in i saw drunk homeless people around the area, i did see Security between the doors not doing anything. i was not able to find parking to go check in, people parked in odd locations, some took two spots and others had homeless people sitting or passed out in it. I recall telling my wife "it must be much better on the inside" as i walked in. the hotel lobby it looked very dated, the Staff was ok, the check-in was not very friendly. I was told to provide ID and CC, i made the joke " the drive here was nice thank you..." did not get a response. OH THE ROOM... as soon as you walk in everything looked old. the TV was an old RCA LCD from early 2000. the mattress was horrible, it seemed old as you sunk in (not in a nice way), the pictures showed newer room with newer furniture, that was not the case. the one Accent Chair looked old and dirty. the bathroom did not have a fan in it, if the person next door flushed i could smell it.......there was a big stain on the celling, that got pained over but looked really bad.... very disappointed, I booked a nice hotel for my wife's birthday and i was very very disappointing

We had an amazing stay. The staff was super friendly. Food and beverage options were great. The veiw from the room was amazing!! Definitely recommend staying here. I know we will be!

I got a combination of about 2 hrs of sleep. The room directly above is had a couple fighting allllll night. My first call to the front desk wat at 11:30pm, second was at 1:00am and third was at 4:20am. The last call I was advised that they were now calling the police because the yelling guests were refusing to leave… Why did they allow this massive disruption to go on very so long?!

Would not recommend! The walls at this hotel are incredibly thin, I could hear people walking in the hall and closing doors. The blanket was thin and bed uncomfortable. If you stay, DO NOT have breakfast here! The buffet was seriously overpriced, mass produced, bland garbage that most hotels provide for free. The wait staff at like you are a burden, and trying to get coffee is like pulling teeth. The positive is that the front desk staff are nice and the hotel is fairly clean.

The hotel, magnificent view and our decision to upgrade to complimentary lounge access, were all exemplary. The Chateau Lacombe staff exhibited a lot of class. All were wonderful. We are in Edmonton regularly and would love to return to the Chateau Lacombe again and again but security in the area is not sufficient. The City Police probably need to have a greater presence because commercial success in downtown Edmonton is now greatly limited. I’m sad there are so many lost souls dangerously wandering around and the image is an unfortunate one. It’s like a sci-fi movie. During our 3 night stay, our vehicle was vandalized by an attempted break-in (despite our emptying it of all belongings) and it was rendered unsafe to drive home (out of province). Of course the repairs were costly. Despite the fact that we would otherwise love subsequent stays, our experience was disturbing and frightening enough that it’s unlikely we could afford another stay at the Chateau L :(

Hello, I would like to ask for a refund as I did not stay in my room for 10 minutes, from the time I checked in to the time I checked out there was about 10-20 minutes not more. The employees were kind and amazing, however, my room was not ready for someone to be in it, there was small hairs on the sink in the washroom, the shower was completely wet as if someone just came out of it, the bed looked like someone was on it... For someone who is germophobic, I unfortunately couldn't stay at the hotel, the offered me another room but I said no, I left and went to another hotel. I understand this was an "icon" hotel in Edmonton but I unfortunately did not expect this to be my experience, again, this is nothing against the great employees but unfortunately the hotel room was really MUCH lower than what I expected. I ended up spending another almost $200 to go to another hotel. I appreciate you looking into this and I hope I get a refund as I did not stay at the hotel & I appreciate the kindness and understanding of the employees working there :) Best regards, Zina
