Sandstones holiday home is just a 'stone's throw' from North Berwick's stunning West Beach and is perfectly located, with easy access to the High Street shops, pubs and restaurants. This 2 bedroom first floor flat has maintained so much of its period decor and furnishings, which lend this property an ageless charm and comfort. There is a delightfully maintained garden with patio and outdoor table, chairs and bench. For golfers' carts, clubs, baby buggies and beach implements, there is a large secure and watertight outdoor storage room. For the intrepid golfer, you are yards away from the exclusive North Berwick West Links international golf course.

Bathroom:
Large full family bathroom. Beautifully modern with walk in shower, wash hand basin and W/C and of course the wonderful, high Victorian ceiling.

Kitchen:
This modern kitchen is fully equipped with a electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Victorian ceiling clothes drying pulley and all the essential items for your stay. There is a dining table with six chairs and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. Please note that this room is being totally remodelled over winter 24/25 and the pictures shown are an artist's impression.

Sitting Room
This room oozes Victorian charm. The original furniture is still in place and really transports you to another era. However, the flat screen TV and DVD player promptly bring you back to the 21st Century. Just under the large picture windows is a small table which seats two from which, on a bright clear day, you can catch a glimpse of the Firth of Forth.

Outside:
Sandstones is situated on Westgate which is the extension of North Berwick's High Street. The property is accessed down a pathway to the right of the building, through a wooden gate. The main door is located at the back of the property and is clearly marked. There is a lovely garden with a small patio area with a wooden bench. The table and additional chairs are kept in the outdoors storage room, located next to the main property entrance. This apartment is in an ideal location for a family holiday or a golfing break in North Berwick, with the North Berwick Golf Club and West Links Golf Course just across the road.

General:
Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental.

Please note that public parking in North Berwick can be complex as the rules vary according to season and year to year. We recommend following the signs upon arrival in North Berwick and also advise considering your options for this prior to check-in as it is unfortunately something we are not able to assist with on the day.

To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you . You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Your refundable damage deposit will be held until you depart and then automatically refunded back onto your card within the week after you depart

Sandstones is located on Westgate which is an extension of the High Street, 1 minutes' walk to the West Beach, North Berwick and the famous West Links Golf Course. A couple of minutes walk to the commercial part of the High Street for great shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops.


Getting there

To Sandstones, 61 Westgate, North Berwick, EH39 4AQ

Make your way to the town centre and continue along High Street. Take the right hand fork very slowly as Sandstones is on the left about 20 yards on the left before the left turn in the road. We suggest either parking further up on Abbey Road (just beyond Westgate Galleries, or on West Bay Road, just around the bend to the right.
