Hotel is undergoing renovations
I knew before I booked this hotel that it is undergoing renovations, but I should have paid more attention to the reviews. On a good note, the front desk staff were very nice trying to accommodate my request for a room close to the elevator since my traveling companion had a walker. Due to renovations, the number of rooms was limited and we still had to walk a bit down the hall from the elevator. We were given a room with a full kitchen that has been renovated but it came only with towels, 2 bars of soap, and a partial tissue box. To be fair, when I checked in, they did tell me that the kitchen was not equipped and to ask for what I needed. I had to ask for a remote for the TV, bedding for the sofa bed, tissues, utensils, and plates. They did not have any paper towels. I was not impressed with the newly renovated room for the following reasons: - there were no chairs in the kitchen/dining area - the sofa bed was strictly a sofa where one person could sleep (I was expecting a pull-out couch) - the lighting was terrible – all rooms had few lights and were very dark - the bath towels were small - there was no TV in the living room (just in the bedroom) Also, the luggage cart was very difficult to maneuver, and the free breakfast was just granola bars and coffee (there were muffins but only one was left). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. Perhaps this will be a nice place when the renovations are done, but I do not recommend it now.

The property is under construction and we were not told ahead of time. The smoke detectors were covered with tape. There was not a coffee maker, coffee cups, coffee, clock or phone in the room. There was a vent in the bathroom but no way to turn it on. When we asked about a coffee maker the clerk provided one but said we had to provide our own coffee. The "breakfast" was coffee (with ground floating in it) and a small tray of mini muffins. Not the continental breakfast advertised.

The location was useful and convenient. This renovating hotel is in poor shape. And, unfortunately, areas that have been completed aren't improvements. Our 2nd room's bathroom (which appeared renovated) had one ceiling light to seeve both the shower & mirror. This backlight caused my face to be in a shadow. Maybe this will be corrected with further renovations. The room was not filthy but not clean either.

For a hotel under renovations, the staff were very accommodating. They allowed me to inspect the room they wanted to assign us and allowed us to change rooms since it was too close to the ongoing renovations.

They had no business charging me $300 for a room in a hotel under current construction. Rooms not complete and hallways covered in construction dust. It was horrible! The limited staff tried to help. Angry to be charged so much for so little

Hotel was dirty and experience was unpleasant.
This place was having extensive work done. It was dirty, dusty. They finished working around 4-5 pm, but didn't clean up after that. Debris was all over. The room didn't look or feel clean. YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE A NOTE IN THE WEB SITE THAT THE HOTEL WAS UNDERGOING EXTENSIVE CONSTRUCTION. If I had known this we would have gone elsewhere. We need to trust that your presentation of a property is accurate. This it was not.

Horrible stay. Hotel is under renovation all over the place. Lobby was a mess and exercise room was not done or able to be used because of construction. Breakfast area was a mess. Room was missing alarm clock, coffee maker, shampoo or anything in kitchen. Bathroom was dirty, carpet had stains. We had 5 of us in room with two beds and pull out bed and had to ask for more towels because they only provided two. Bedding was missing for pullout bed. Found a live bug on bathroom counter. Breakfast was coffee, granola bar, oatmeal or muffin. Paid for the stay and asked Expedia for some sort of discount because we did not get what we paid for as advertised and was denied.

Complete renovation work happening, everywhere is dusty and dirty. General basic cleaning for the room was very bad. Staff was disengaged, considering the condition of the property I would have expect high level customer service to make up for the things that are missing. Please dont advertise the free breakfast, it is a granola bar with coffee.

The place was very convenient for us as we booked last minute (same week). The service was spot on, everyone was very nice and friendly. However, the place was under construction (hence my rating), it wasn’t terrible I’d just wish we’d known beforehand. It’s definitely going to be very nice and 5 stars once that’s done!

Not good at all
The property is clearly being ungraded. They offer “breakfast” but if you consider muffin and nutrgrain bars as that, then you’re ok. No coffee was refilled. Have ice but bring your own cooler, no ice bucket. Have full kitchen and dishwasher but not one supply. You have to bring your own. For $600 for 2 nights, it was a $50 hotel. Very disappointing. Only saving grace was night front desk lady. Not her fault there is nothing there. Will never stay here again. Oh and only half roll of toilet paper in bathroom. Had to ask for towels. And no toiletries in bathroom - make sure you don’t forget anything or you’re going to the store.

I have never left a review on a hotel stay before but this was purely unacceptable. While I know this was a value priced hotel, the conditions were the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hotel was being renovated so I can look past the dust and mess everywhere. My room and bathroom were not cleaned from the previous stay. I had black hair in the shower and on the bathroom sink. There was broken glass in my hallway and could have easily cut someone’s foot. There was no drinking water on property and this experience was just not acceptable for any hotel of any caliber. I would please have some contact me about my stay

This hotel has been under construction for over a year. No notice was offered when booking. Every piece of furniture in the lobby is covered with plastic. Blue painters tape is on every wall, on every floor. Cardboard and wood cover doors and floors. Plastic is all over the floors. Elevators are covered in construction table. The lobby is filled with dust and construction debris. I’m not sure how they are allowed to actually rent out their rooms. The room looks like a construction crew was in here today. Furniture is disgusting. Floor is filthy. Not one hanger. One small bar of soap, no shampoo, no conditioner. Extremely dissatisfied and zero recourse. Staff doesn’t seem to care one bit. Do NOT book this hotel!
