Staff needs to be better informed to deal with handicapped guests. We booked an accessible room with roll in shower and were put in a room where the bathroom doorway wasn't wide enough for the wheelchair, no shower seat (there was one bar in the shower), no bars by the toilet and the toilet was very low to the ground. We had to ask to be moved to an accessible room and ask for a shower seat.

The hotel was clean and the price was right. However, there were adults partying in the lobby until around midnight and the front desk would not help quiet them down. There were crowds of kids and adults taking up all of the space in the common areas at night and in the morning. It was definitely not a quiet and relaxing stay for those reasons.

Meh.
Meh. It was fine. It is obvious this is an old hotel that was refreshed. A nice shiny refresh but the bones of the building are on obviously old. Not why it has such good reviews. Customer service was not friendly at all. Pool area was so outdated it was gross. Breakfast was good. Overall it worked for our 1 night stay but next time I am in Eau Claire, I will choose another hotel.
