This is a charming cottage with detail and character. It has the feel of an older home made new. The high ceilings, hardwood floors, and wooden stairwell show its style and beauty, and yet it is very clean, bright, and welcoming. The kitchen has been updated in fall 2015 with new granite countertops and hardwood floors put in. The house is located off Maravista in a family-friendly area with children in the neighborhood. The beaches are very close by, less than four streets away. You can just barely see Martha's vineyard from one of the upstairs bedrooms, but from the beaches it seems so close it looks like you can reach out and touch it.
A little more on the area...: It would be a great house for one large family or two smaller families to spend a vacation. There is lots to do in Falmouth, and there are also the islands and other parts of Cape Cod to explore as well. The Falmouth town beaches alone keep us busy for a long time. Biking is a great way to explore the area and can carry you quite far on the islands, around Falmouth, and Woods Hole, for candy stores, ice cream, beaches, and more. Personally we find so much to do in Falmouth, Woods Hole, and Martha's Vineyard, we almost never drive to other parts of Cape Cod.
