The quiet East Side
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was nice. I believe it just changed hands and they are in process of updating a few things. Nothing that affected our vacation. The only thing that really affected us was thunderstorms but it sure was nice to have this house to relax in. The pool and spa were excellent. They did end up with quite a few leaves, etc due to the storms but that was just mother nature.
The East Side is the quiet side. We only saw a handful of people on the beach the entire time we were there. Please understand that on the windward side there will always be seaweed and some trash on the beach. That is just nature and if you expect pristine white sand beach you will have to join the hoards of people on 7 mile beach or make a trip to Rum Point. We loved the snorkeling. I recommend Spotts beach where there are some very tame turtles (about 25 min away) and barefoot beach for some shallow coral (10 min away and not marked). We enjoyed seeing stingrays, very large tarpon and barracuda under the dock. There is a very nice washer a dryer that came in handy and plenty of cooking supplies. All the TVs are smart TVs and brand new. The media room is great but only has Cable (pretty extensive cable with HBO) but no smart feature I could find to get to apps. The sound system and lights inside is outstanding. It did take a little while to get used to the app used to control everything but it sure is nice. We would definitely stay here again.
