The Space:
The ground floor at Aidan Gardens has a very modern open plan kitchen and dining area.

KITCHEN
Fully equipped, the kitchen has everything you could need to make the most of your self-catering staycation in Durham.

DINING AREA
The dining area can be found at the bottom end of the space and includes a glass table and six comfy chairs.

LIVING AREA AND BALCONY
Perfect for unwinding with your loved ones, the living area on the first floor features a corner sofa, matching footstool and a wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV. An added bonus to the living room is a balcony which boasts outdoor seating where you can relax in the sunshine.

BEDROOM
Stay on the first floor and you’ll find the first bedroom. Ideal for couples, this bedroom has a king size bed along with an ensuite shower room.

The second room, located on the second floor, also has a king size bed. Both beds at Aidan Gardens have comfy mattresses and plush bedding to ensure you have a great night’s sleep.

BATHROOM
The family bathroom is located on the second floor. Modern and clean, it features a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and wash basin.

GARDEN
A patio area and artificial grass can be found in the rear garden area, perfect for enjoying a spot of fresh air.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle at the property.

The Neighborhood:
Located just two minutes from the A1, you’ll be able to explore the North East of England with ease when staying at Aidan Gardens.

Named ‘One of the Best Cities to Visit in 2020’, Durham is a beautiful and charming area within the North East. Known as the ‘perfect little city’, Durham has the best mix of everything and it all blends seamlessly. It retains its mediaeval heritage but it also has a modern and vibrant twist. It boasts lush green landscapes but it also has busy cobbled streets with independent shops, bars and restaurants.

Durham has plenty of history within its walls. One of the most spectacular historic sites is Durham Cathedral. Constructed between 1903 and 1133, this towering building is a shining example of Norman architecture. The cathedral is now the oldest surviving building with a stone vaulted ceiling of such a large scale.

Getting Around:
The centre of Durham is a short 10-minute drive from Aidan Gardens.

Durham train station is 9-minute drive away so nearby towns and cities can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Durham. Hop on the Arriva 6 route to visit Barnard Castle or the number 22 which travels through Seaham and Sunderland.
