The hotel was advertised as "pet friendly" but did not note a pet fee or extra charges of any kind for pets. When I arrived I was told they required a $30 CASH deposit, refundable on departure day after inspection showing NO pet damage. I told dthe desk agent that I was not happy with this since it wasn't noted online and I didn't carry cash. I had to go to an ATM and get cash.
The next morning when I was ready for the inspection, I notified the desk agent and she slammed me with rude language telling me it was a NONREFUNDABLE FEE.
When Ii told her about my experience the night before with the desk clerk, she told me that was not their policy and told me to leave.
If there is sa pet fee, it should be clearly disclosed along with other parameters like "CASH required upon checkin"
I am not objecting to a pet fee, but I'm strongly upset about the manner it was handled--first lack of website disclosure, then lying that it was a refundalbe deposit, then acting rudely when I asked for the deposit refund relatibe to NO pet damage. What a disturbing and dishonest experience. I would never recommend this establishment.
