Designed by award winning architect Chad Oppenheim, this private residence is conceived as simultaneously powerful, yet comfortable; primitive, yet innovative; casual, yet elegant; raw, yet refined. Idyllic Spot on Pink Sand Beach
Beautifully designed house. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Grounds are landscaped naturally. Kitchen and bathrooms have everything you need. Beds and linens are very nice. AC worked perfectly. The house manager was very helpful and friendly, fixing a Sonos device that was not working. . Suitable for a family. There's no pool, but the house is directly on one of the world's nicest beaches where you may walk into the water on soft pink sand. Rent a golf cart to explore this small island.

Amazing home, with remarkable design/ocation/comfor. Staff are incredibly helpful, making trip A+!
Wonderful home that is both highly designed but also incredibly comfortable. Location on the beach is stunning and still close to town and amenities. Alexis and the team at the house made everything comfortable and easy. From lining up a chef, to organizing tuna fishing, it was all very easy. One of our favorites trips to Harbour Island (been coming for well over 15 years). A great trip in a remarkable home that was a treat to experience for a few weeks!

Most Relaxing Home on the Most Pristine & Quiet Stretch of Beach
Staying in this beautiful home overlooking the pristine beaches of Harbour Island on a very quiet stretch was truly the ultimate in relaxation. All of the bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. The main room has doors that slide all the way back to leave you feeling as though you are truly living outdoors in this beautiful place. We went with 3 children who had ample space to run around yet with all the creature comforts that a family would need, down to comfortable mattresses, beautiful linens and a well stocked kitchen. The simplicity and thoughtfulness of the design was beyond imagine and any of the pictures. This home was truly spectacular and we will most certainly be back for another visit, it just cannot come soon enough.

This property was definitely understated. the pictures do not do it any justice
This was a first class experience the house is understated! We had a long Birthday weekend there. We found out the owner is a world renown archtect and there are too many subtle details to count! We truly enjoyed the home and the privacy. We felt as if we had our own private beach as well. The house manger and staff were exceptional. Overall the most unique but comfortable house we have ever stayed in!

Reunion
The photos were so fabulous, we were concerned that the reality could not live up to the image. If anything the reality is better. Very private, very chic, right on a fine stretch of beach. Not adjacent to a hotel or restaurant that might clutter the beach, but a short walk to either. As a bonus, the beach was groomed to remove tidal seaweed the day we arrived. First rate experience all around. House manager helped arrange catering for a dinner party for our group -- chef was great and house was well appointed to be dressed up for a party.

The perfect getaway...
Stairway to Heaven is a stunning home and the perfect place for a family getaway on Harbour Island. The location of the home on the beach is quiet and secluded and has an incredible view but is still only a short walk or golf cart ride to all of the island's best restaurants. The house itself is an architectural gem and really allows you to relax enjoy the beautiful beach and the surrounding gardens on the property. Finally the team who support the property are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and make the rental process absolutely seamless. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to coming back soon!

Stair way to Heaven
Everything about our stay was simply amazing. It felt like Heaven being on Harbour Island and staying in this home. I cannot wait to go back.
