Nice stay
We enjoyed our stay . The beds were comfortable. A plus is that there is coffee and a smores starter pack with firewood for the fire pit.Plenty of parking in the back yard. House was clean plenty of dishes and cups , could use some more pots and pans but we made do very well from what was there. Three bathrooms and plenty of beds. Communication was very good. The Dunkirk Pier is down the street. Not far to stores. We will return 😃

Lovely older home with a few quirks
This historic house is quite spacious, with ample parking, which is great for family gatherings such as ours. In many ways it is well equipped, but the major drawback is no dishwasher. The exterior needs some TLC, but the beds were comfy and the air conditioners in each bedroom worked well. Overall it is a good value and an interesting property. We did not experience any noise issues though it does directly face a hospital.

Awesome house!
Gorgeous, huge house. Host thought of everything! Extra coffee, s'mores, toiletries including soap, shampoo, body wash in each shower, etc. Huge porch, great back deck, huge fire pit. Can't go wrong here.

Outside of home needs a bit of work and does not do the property justice. Very nice inside. Conveniences included. Easy to check in and communicate with owner. We recommend this property.

Very comfy home.
Easy access to Dunkirk and Fredonia State. Liked all the parking space! Very Clean. Wish they would have said in their description that one of the bath rooms was in the bedroom with the king bed. Access was only through that bedroom. However, on the plus side there was a half bathroom downstrairs. We enjoyed our stay.

My sister and I find a week each year to get together. We chose Captain’s Quarters and found the locale perfect for day tripping. It’s a town with interesting history, the house is clean and very well stocked for any size group. Definitely on the list if we want a return trip to Lake Erie.

Plenty of Space for Family
The house was big and had enough beds, sleeping space for our family. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm during the winter storm. Extra heaters helped keep other spaces warm. It is an old house so with the winds it was very drafty. Staff was great and kept checking in with us. I would recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captain’s Quarters. We were with our adult children and three grandkids while visiting other family in Dunkirk. The property was perfect for our four-night stay. The house and furnishings were charming, and the location was great. We appreciated the host’s thoughtfulness in providing everything we needed. Beautiful spacious house, convenient location
The Captain’s Quarters is a beautiful old home in the center of historic Dunkirk. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with amazing appliances. The bathrooms have been updated but retain the character of the home. We found the location quite convenient for shopping, restaurants and parks. Lauren’s team was very helpful and friendly and we had a very pleasant stay.

Clean, centrally located and great for our group!
We stayed with a small group of family members, in town for a wedding on the Lake. The property is exactly as indicated in the listing. The bedrooms are roomy, beds really comfortable and LOTS of bedding, towels, etc. Similarly, there is more than enough kitchenware, an industrial stove and fridge and lots of places to sit. The wifi was strong and the management was very accessible and available for any small items. Walking distance to the pier We had a great time and would come back again!

This house was great! All the amenities of home. Very clean with comfortable beds. Small wicker baskets with your own set of towels on each bed when you arrive. . Enjoyed the back deck, the porch, and the pool table. Just 5 minutes from our fishing location. Host Lauren was easy to reach and very accommodating, with an early check in.
