I was so looking forward to staying at this hotel for my birthday and enjoying the facilties.
We could not reserve the times we wanted in either the bar or rooftop. The bar was closed for a private event all evening.
We were advised that our room would be guaranteed by 3pm. On arrival at reception it wasnt and were were switched rooms. The decor in the room is beautiful and has all the mod cons but it was tiny. Just enough room to walk around the bed.
The said private event had really loud music and a dj. The vibrations were literally pumping into our room. For the cost of the room and the lack of priority for guests, I unfortunately could not recommend this hotel. We checked out and left at 9.30am. I am so disappointed and wish i had chosen elsewhere.
Wonderful stay at this new boutique hotel within walking distance to the main attractions. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout. The staff (particularly Merton!) are really helpful, polite, and welcoming. The room was absolutely spotless (thank you, Larissa, for your great attention to detail!), and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept it. The breakfast is delicious, and is served in a lovely setting. The gym is also great - small, but definitely big enough and with plenty of weights, which is often rare in hotels. I cannot imagine anywhere better to stay if we are lucky enough to come back to Dublin!
What a stunning hotel. The rooms are fabulous with no expense spared. Japanese toilet is definitely a highlight hahaha. the service was spot on with lovely staff on hand. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but did go up for a drink on the rooftop which again was fabulous. Great location which is quiet and surrounded by lovely Georgian town houses. Walk into the centre is not far at all. Highly recommended this place to stay and honestly you won’t have a bad thing to say about this place.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The rooms are small and too much time, money and effort has been spent on unnecessary niceties and not enough on basics like space and comfort.
The fancy toilet does not compensate for the difficulty in getting in and out of the shower or the fact that the shower door doesn't fit and restults in water all over the bathroom floor. The cost of the items in the mini bar is disgusting and having to pay a €100 'deposit' is also very off putting and frustrating.
We paid extra for something special for our 30th wedding anniversary and got bog standard.
We would not recommend The Leinster.
Brand new and very nice accommodations. Shower was glorious as was the high tech toilet seat! Japan has nothing on the Leinster. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood to treat yourself to a day in the city close to sights. Do ask for a regular size room as some of the smaller ones can feel a bit tight. Mine had a comfy couch but some of my fellow travelers complained about close quarters.
LOVE this hotel. Have stayed twice and each time it’s exceeded my expectations. Rooms are a little small, but the staff, food, decor, all make up for it. Great place in Dublin.
The staff was amazing and very patient with me because I kept adding nights! The room they upgraded me too was absolute perfection and I never wanted to leave. I changed my plans to stay longer! Having the gorgeous terrace upstairs was truly special and the Jean-George restaurant was spectacular. Don’t miss the full tasting menu. Thank you to all the staff for taking care of me at a rather difficult time after my mom passed. Forever grateful for your team!
The property is well managed .
It’s has style and an elegance that permeates through the whole place
It’s clear that the staff love working there and that they are proud of their work place
