This was a very quiet and comfortable place to stay close to major highways which made it a convenient location but far enough that there was no noise. I used the workout room which was nice and had towels and a tv along with weights, yoga mats, machines and free weights. I was very disappointed that the hot tub and outside pool heater weren’t working. I booked because I have a medical condition which necessitates aquatic exercise and the heat and jets of a hot tub relieve pain. If they aren’t available I would have liked it posted in the website so I could have considered this in my booking choice or received a discount. The breakfast room is really nice and the options were good although monotonous for an extended stay. I liked the yogurt dispenser and of course the waffle maker. Was pleased by the vegetarian options of a bean and cheese burrito and veggie sausage patties! Area was clean and always well stocked and there was a view of Mount Diablo in the distance. It the pool and hot tub are fixed I would definitely stay here again! It would have gotten five stars.

Great Location
The purpose for our visits was due to a extended hospital stay. The property is super easy on/off to the highway. It's very close to multiple hospitals and if traffic is good only 20 min from Oakland airport. There are many restaurants close by. The hotel is very clean, if a little tired. I stayed in multiple rooms, some were better appointed than others. The pillows in all three rooms I stayed in were not the greatest, but I bring my own anyway. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, carpeting everywhere not so much. The furniture had seen better days long ago and the elevator has a whole cacophony of noises it likes to make. The cleaning staff, maintenance staff and breakfast staff were all super friendly. The front desk staff was a different story...I didn't get a welcoming vibe from most of them. It was as if they were doing a job and that was it. The price was happily affordable. Lately, I've had to stay in hotels that were ridiculously expensive. This hotel is isn't cheap, but it is doable. Especially if you have to do an extended stay. Overall, with a few little hitches I would highly recommend this property.
