The staff were very friendly. I was not happy that the transportation arrangement we made for travel to Abu Dhabi on Friday, 11/08 with your concierge's desk staff person. We were GUARANTEED a driver and a specific rate for our travel. On Friday, there was no driver at the time we needed him to be there. Another driver filled in. When we got back to the hotel, that driver attempted to Charge us DOUBLE what we were promised and guranteed we were to pay. We were VERY upset. I refused to pay the double rate and took the matter up with hotel staff. We did wind up paying the initital guranteed rate, but, that incident made us lose trust with the Novotel concierge staff.

We had a great experience staying here. The rooms are excellent and clean. The pool was under going maintenance so the hotel staff had arranged an alternative some 10 mins walk away or less than 5 mins by taxi for around 20 aed. We didn't mind the walk. The valet parking system although there to have better management of parking needs some work. In my opinion valet parking although free should still be an option rather than mandated. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The stuff of the hotel was very nice and professional The pool was out of order at the hotel so they had a pool ready for me at a nearby hotel ( need to walk a little bit but not too far) I will come back to this hotel in the near future
