Modern 3-bedroom cottage in Drumore, southern Lancaster County

Discover this 3-bedroom updated cottage in Drumore, PA in beautiful southern Lancaster County. Enjoy the beauty and peace of the cottage surrounded by farmland and nature.

The cottage is located adjacent to the Ferncliff Wildlife and Wildflower Preserve, a scenic and peaceful wooded ravine that is a favorite spot for bald eagles. The trail follows Barnes Run which directly leads to the Susquehanna River. In addition, this area has many other beautiful natural attractions - take a drive through Fishing Creek, walk out to the Pinnacle overlooking the Susquehanna Rive for amazing views, and hike Kelly's Run and Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve.
Shenk's Ferry and the Ferncliff Preserve are known for their flowers in the spring. The cottage is only minutes away from the Drumore Estate, a premier wedding venue.

Lancaster city, a walkable town rich with history and architecture, is about 30 minutes away. The city is lively with restaurants, pubs, bars and shops. We recommend a visit to the oldest farmers market in the country in the center of town (open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings). And, of course, enjoy the beautiful Amish farmland, shops and attractions.

This modern cottage features 3 bedrooms: 2 king beds and 1 queen bed plus a large den with an oversized sectional sofa, and a well-equipped kitchen with large dining area. You can relax and unwind after a day of exploring while enjoying the convenience of amenities like WiFi, a stackable washer/dryer and AC. The bathrooms are updated. And you have the entire house and property to yourself.

While the cottage is secluded, a grocery store and local restaurants are about a ten-minute drive. The house is situated on a steep hill with a paved driveway. There is parking for 3-4 cars at the top of the driveway. Cell coverage can be spotty - we recommend wi-fi on your phone. Internet is provided by Starlink Satellite. There is a small pond on the property - swimming is prohibited but fishing is allowed.

We welcome you to experience what Lancaster County has to offer with a stay at our peaceful cottage.

Please note that staircase leading from top floor to the lower floor den area is carpeted but narrow. If you have concerns, please contact us for more information.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Wissler Run Nature Preserve. The cottage offers a washer.

Nice house in the coubtry
We really enjoyed our experience. The house is clean and comfortable. Having a foosball table was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the house was nicely furnished. The host responded quickly and the kitchen was well stocked. There are few options for restaurants near by so you will want to plan accordingly. Eagle Cafe was a great place to go for a huge breakfast. We would stay here again. The only concern I would share is the stairs to the basement are steep and that’s where the living area is. It wasn’t a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues of any kind, make sure you talk to the host, before you book.
