Not a 5* atmosphere at all. No greating when we entered (several times). We had to wait for check-in because all the staff were busy talking to each other or doing something on their computers. In the lobby were cheap banners standing around from a company that were holding a conference. Checking in was like in a youth hostel, most importantly their go green policy was explained: magazines are available on a webpage (what an Innovation) and no turn down service by default. The room was OK, the furniture got long in the tooth. I can't remember when I had such a slow WiFi connection the last time. The building is nice and professionally renovated. It's OK to stay there but don't expect a 5* service.

Very luxury hotel but not in my taste. Breakfast was a disapointment... dry bacon, beans that has gone dry etc.

Beautiful hotel

Got a great rate for this hotel. Top rate service and excellent facilities. Made good use of the pool during our stay. Bed wasn't great - a bit lumpy and at 30 Euro pp the breakfast is way too expensive but other than this had a wonderful stay.

Wir hatten ein Upgrade mit Zusicherung Blick Oper und Zwinger wurde nicht berücksichtigt. Reklamation wurde dürftig und unfreundlich behandelt. Am Sonntag war das Zimmer um 14.30 Uhr noch nicht geeinigt und die Betten noch nicht gemacht.

Zimmer „Superior“ war kein solches. Lage im Dachgeschoss mit Schrägen, Dachgauben- Fenster klein. Kein Blick, Zimmer zu dunkel, zu schmal, zu lang: ein „Schlauch“. Zimmerservice am Sonntag zum Abend: Keiner, trotz grüner Karte! Frühstücks-Restaurant-Räumlichkeiten unter Niveau. Bahnhofsatmosphäre! Betonboden, Kunstleder, kalte, grelle, viel zu helle Beleuchtung. Hotel-Personal sehr gemischt, teils freundlich und kompetent, teils weniger. Das schöne Hotel von einst, ist nicht mehr! Den 5. „Stern“ verdient es zur Zeit sicher nicht.
