Good cheap place to stay for a night whilst having one of the best concerts ever in the Westfalenhalle which was at a walking distance.

Second visit for Me, excellent location for German comic con, it's a family run business, and all staff are polite and very helpful, room is cleaned daily, heating was on for arrival as the weather was cold so that was a nice considerate touch, we were allowed to leave our bags after check out which was helpful due to attending the comic con, only down side is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but breakfast is available on request at extra charge English travellers, might be worth learning some basic German, helps with communication

Nice location near Westfalen Park. Hotel is good value for money, though starting to show it's age / need for a refresh. Shower (showerhead + bathtub, but no shower curtain) definitely needs a refresh.

Was there for two nights, a mix up put me in a single room instead of a suite. But that got resolved thanks to hotels.com it is clean and proper but is quite dated

The hotel location
The hotel was in a good location central for my needs. It was only a 10 minute walk to the Signal Iduna Stadium, the home of the Dortmund football team, and the venue for the recent Germany v Scotland match on the 7th off September. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable, if a little careworn. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was ok, typical continental style. There was enough information available through the hotel in a way of leaflets, and maps, for activities and venues. I would recommend this hotel to friends, although it is in need off some attention.

Compact but convenient
This is a small hotel, but extremely convenient for the Westfallenhalle venues - literally a 5 minute walk, and for local underground services. Our room was very small, and the bathroom redefines the definition of 'compact' - but the facilities were perfectly adequate and the beds extremely comfortable! Breakfast was generous and with lots of choice.

Ziemlich altes Hotel, würde sagen so auf dem Stand der 80er Jahre. Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen über - für Menschen mit einer Allergie absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich. Aufgrund der Lage bezüglich des Messe Besuches gewählt.

Der Service passt, es könnte mal wieder etwas am Interieur und der Ausstattung des Hauses / der Zimmer getan werden. Für mich war es für den Preis in Ordnung. Die Nähe zur Westfalenhalle ist sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
