The house is exclusively yours during your stay. Our standard listed rate is for 2 guests sharing the same bedroom, additional guests are $50 per person per night for the duration of the booking. 2 guests using 2 bedrooms is an additional $50 per stay to cover laundry costs, (unfortunately this is a cost i have to pass on) So Please let me know at the time of booking i will make the amendment for you.
Retreat 101 is a self contained open plan family friendly getaway situated on 4 acres beach side. With a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue. Sleeping 6 persons, A queen room and en suite upstairs with own door to balcony. Downstairs has a queen room, third bedroom has 2 single beds, 2nd bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet, with laundry facilities.
The property is situated150m from nine mile beach. A pleasant and scenic 40 min drive to Cole’s bay or take a little longer to stop off at one of the many wineries along the way.
Retreat 101 is a relaxing flat walk along the beach or a short drive to the Historic township of Swansea, which offers a variety of dining, gallery, golf course, boat ramp or just a little further down the road the Berry and Oyster farms. (note) the walk into Swansea is dependent on the tide as there is an inlet that separates Nine mile beach and Swansea, so is best done at low tide.
Keep the Children entertained on the trampoline or tree swing while you relax in the hammock with a cool drink. Those inside days are also catered for with a large rumpus room with digital tv, wii & board games. Or why not light the outdoor fire pot and sit under the stars. ( wood provided)
Come and Beach comb or just take in the extensive bird life.

A nice place in a nice location
Was a lovely house but advertised a trampoline and didn’t have one, couldn’t work out the Wii, found a scratch on one of the tv. The grounds were very nice. Not sure about the stairs if one has small kids. The house itself was well equipped. All in all a nice place in a nice location.

Great for 4 of us, plenty of space, clean, loved the fire pit. The locality is good, close to the beach and fishing spots, not to mention the lovely East Coast wineries.

Nice house 100m from beach and not too close to neighbours
Beautiful beach 100m from door. Shops only a short drive away. Lots of local attractions and some further away (1hr) like Freycinet. The drive to anywhere is half the fun - Jesus made some beautiful scenery when He made Tassie.

Fabulous - even in winter
We've stayed here before (in summer) and came back in winter. The house was just as fantastic to stay in! We weren't cold at all - and it was definitely cold outside! Thanks again for a wonderful stay! We'll be back

Great place to spend our Easter weekend
We had a great time staying here. The house was very clean and in the best location. The second lounge area and the WII came in very handy and were well used by the teenagers in our group. The firepit was great and enjoyed by all. The beach is so close and was lovely to walk along each evening to witness the most beautiful sunsets. I only have one little thing that could be improved and that would be to replace the bbq. It was very clean but only 2/3rds of it was working and the heat was very varied over the cooking surface. Apart from that the kitchen was easy to use and had everything we needed. We are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you.

Most wonderful stay at dolphin sands
5 friends stayed here for 3 nights this week. The house is very comfy with everything you need for a great stay.We particularly enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach admiring the fiery red sunrises. Great place to base yourself for touring the east coast. Wish we could have stayed longer and used the outdoor fire pit which looked like fun. Sunday lunch at the Waterloo inn down the road is not to be missed!

Great holiday for the family
We had a great time at Retreat 101! It's a modern and well kept property, so close to the beach! Having two storeys meant that there was definitely an adult zone and a kids zone available (something we have struggled to find in other holiday houses). The Wii was awesome - keeping us all entertained. A great selection of games to play. My only suggestion would be to keep on top of the appliances. Over our stay we had issues with the oven, the kettle and the tv. Loretta was fantastic when I approached her - but no one likes to have to call the property manager during their holiday. Perhaps upgrading the appliances (and maybe thinking about a dishwasher) is something to look into. It was a wonderful break - looking forward to coming back!

The house had everything we needed, great location. Close to the beach, which was great for kids, warm and calm. Firepit, beach chairs, great deck that we ate all our meals at. Couldn't ask for more, very clean and comfy beds. Will come back again.

Perfect beach home for all the family
This was a great beach home for all the family. Close to the beach and town yet in a quite private location. We loved the use of both outdoor and decks and listening to the resident swift parrots and other resident birds. There was plenty was room for our fwo boats and vehicles. The house also had plenty of room for our family with the additional lounge downstairs allowing everyone to relax and unwind which was very important for us. Overall we could not have been happier with the property and we will be back next year.
