Please note: There is an unfenced river 25 metres from the property.. Situated in a landscaped lodge park right on the edge of beautiful Dollar is Ochil View Lodge. Just as the name suggests, the view across the small town, or big village of Dollar towards the Ochil Hills is stunning.
It is more than likely that this will inspire a walk into the hills on maybe more than one occasion. With a location just 12 miles from the Historic City of Stirling, 30 miles from Edinburgh and around 14 miles to Gleneagles, Ochil View Lodge will serve as the ideal base for anyone whether the reason for the trip is activity based or simply just to relax. This modern two-bedroom lodge has been exceptionally well presented and provides an ideal space for a small family, or small group of friends. The bedrooms are fitted as one twin room and one double. The larger of the two rooms has an en suite loo, ideal if perhaps you’ve been enjoying a meal and a few drinks in one of the well-regarded restaurants or pubs in Dollar. The living space is ideal for days and nights in, the decking at the front enjoys that view we mentioned. If you are dining in, then the kitchen provides the appliances needed along with plenty utensils, crockery, and glassware.
If you’re planning a trip just to relax in pretty part of the world, then you’ll be happy here. Likewise, if it is a base to use to go and explore the walks on the Ochil Hills, Day trips to Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow, St. Andrews, Blair Drummond Safari Park, or Loch Lomond and the Trossachs then this is ideal, all are reachable in around an hour by car.
