This welcoming cottage is set near the market town of Dolgellau. You’ll have access to walks from your doorstep such as the Mawddach Trail, which follows an old disused railway line and Cader Idris, the highest mountain in Snowdonia. Head to the seaside resort of Barmouth, 9 miles away, for a sand and shingle beach, a picturesque harbour and fine views of Cardigan Bay or a take the Talyllyn Steam Train from Tywyn, 20 miles away, for a scenic route across ravines and through farmland and ancient woodland.
The light and modern kitchen has been designed to maximise the space and a slate floor gives a cool feel in summer and a comforting feel in winter with its heat retention properties. The inviting sofa in the living room is just the place to relax after a day out and about or to spend a cosy night in in-front of the log burner. All four guests can sit at the dining table and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or an evening meal. The family bathroom with shower and WC is located on the ground floor.
There are two double bedrooms upstairs, the first has pretty rural views and the second, a mezzanine bedroom overlooking the living room.
There is a garden with a lovely grassy area at the back of the cottage.
