Had been up since 4am and needed to crash. Room was so smokey I could hardly sleep, but had no energy to request a move or find another hotel. Was supposed to be there two night and left after the one. Worst Best Western I've stayed in (also not a hotel, this is a motel).

The first room they put us in had not been cleaned. The pillows and bed were not comfortable. The water was Luke warm. The ice container was dirty. There was dirt on the walls and baseboards. The window unit was loud. The phone did not work. The front desk staff were super friendly and their continental breakfast was good.

I liked having eggs and sausages included with the breakfast. Good lighting around the bathroom mirror. It looks like the rooms have been partially updated (furniture, wall hangings) which was a plus, but it would be nice if the carpet were replaced.

One of the better places I've stayed in similar price range. It's not the Hilton, but for what you pay, you get a lot. The most important things I look for when traveling is quiet and safety. This place has both. The room was clean and the amenities were sufficient. There wasn't any illegal activities or random people walking around at night, which was refreshing. A big plus, they do allow pets for a small additional fee. Next time we visit Dickson, we'll more than likely stay here again.
