Dickinson ND is a town of 25k. The downtown is lovely and we’re refered by hotel to Blue42. Excellent Bar and Grill with delicious burgers and cocktails.

Check-in was fine, except she didn't even tell us the pool and hot tub were both broken! Paid premium price for sub par amenities! Breakfast was minimal, and weird egg omelettes were terrible taste. Our room was a little dirty. Wrappers under the bed, (checking for my own things left behind) 1 bed made very sloppy and not folded the same as other bed, Looked like someone sat on it. Drawers were open, and opened by themselves constantly. Mold all over the bathroom ceiling. So gross! We stay Laquinta every weekend all over ND, & Dickenson is the worst one!

The first room given to me was not cleaned. The second room had plenty of grime on the table & bathroom door. WI FI is horribly slow and disconnects all the time. I booked this hotel for the treadmill that is pictured in the photos. There wasn't one.

Poor customer service at check-in and check-out.
Our greeting at the desk upon arrival was cold and unfriendly. One word answers with no eye contact indicating disinterest. When checking out a different desk person was also not customer friendly. She was rude and condescending. She stated that my last name was a foo foo, sissified name. Obviously, I didn't pick my name. I was born into it. It is a common Dutch name. If that was an attempt at being funny, it missed the mark.
