The building was nice, but when we went to check in we weren’t able to due to a computer glitch. It was a little frustrating as we had checked in online prior and no one had informed us of this and we had an event to be at shortly thereafter. The facility and room were okay, but in my opinion not worth the money we spent. Location was safe and staff was nice, but overall I don’t think I will be returning.

Great hotel!
Really nice hotel. Super “fancy” place. Really nice bar and restaurant. Great food and drinks but expensive. Nothing complementary here, everything costs. Room very nice and clean but a couple odd things like an empty water bottle left in the room.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. I have always enjoyed my stay except on the last occasion. The room had wall paper peeling off the walls. I had to call four times to get ahold of someone to order in-room dining. Throughout the night I heard the constant hum of a vacuum. I have no idea whether it was a vacuum or something else.

I booked this room, a wheelchair accessible room with roll-in shower, in November of 2023 for a stay in August of 2024 because I know that there are always fewer accessible rooms in any hotel and wanted to be certain I was able to secure the accommodations I needed. At 7:45pm on the day I was to check-in I received a call from the hotel stating they had given away my accessible room with a roll-in shower. Essentially letting me know I was out of luck and there was nothing they could do. I requested they keep my reservation and find a solution before I arrived since this was not my fault. Arrived at the hotel at midnight after attending a concert at Ford Field to be told they had an “accessible room” with “walk-in” shower for me. When I asked what the difference between a roll-in and walk-in shower was they could not tell me. They took me to the room so I could see it before proceeding and they had essentially stuck a transfer shower bench into a shower with a step and glass enclosure doors and were trying to pass it off as an accessible room. The bathroom had no grab bars or accessibility features except for the shower bench they placed inside the shower that could not be used as intended due to the doors and step and lack of grab bars. I refused the room. It’s unacceptable that an accessible room with specific accessibility features can be listed on Expedia and confirmed upon booking and yet NOT be available upon arrival and this happens repeatedly!!
