Great hotel except for the bar/club next door plays outdoor music quite load. Probably won’t stay there again for that reason.

The property was amazing other than the fact that the hotel canceled my reservations before I arrived due to not being able to charge my card prior to arrival. It states you can pay at check in upon booking, which it was not check in yet but reservations were canceled anyway. The supervisor did make it right by reinstating my reservation at the original booked rate.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and discourteous. No matter how hard I tried to be polite and friendly, their demeanor was plain and simple, rude, and angry. They just did not seem happy working or checking people in. I had booked two rooms together for us and our kids and simply requested if we could get rooms next to each other. They could’ve simply and politely said that would not be possible. There was no need to snap and say, ‘we have nothing available’. This happened on more than one occasion. I would not recommend anybody should book this property or even consider. I was not asking for any special favors. A simple welcome, smile, or a friendly demeanor would be, in my opinion basics of any entertainment industry.

Nice hotel in Corktown
New hotel in Corktown. All appointments were new and in good working condition. The king bed room was spacious enough for 2 people to move about. The lobby had an area where you could gather and socialize with friends while enjoying refreshments that we brought from home. The restaurant on the 7th floor was fancy and offered a view of the Detroit sky line at night. There is a restaurant and bar at the street level also. We did not eat in any of these venues . Valet parking is nice but $36/ night for lodgers.

When it comes to hotels , let’s just say i’m very picky. This hotel exceeded my expectations! I’m pleased how we were greeted, check in was seamless and it during a busy time. The updated, upscale esthetic was definitely a high point. The room was clean and quaint. I will stay here again.

The hotel is nice idk what the bad reviews are about. The staff is friendly and accommodating I got a great view from my room. The hotel smells good whatever they are cooking in the bar smells delicious. The restaurant is fabulous as well service was slightly slow, but that doesn't take away from the stunning decor and atmosphere. The waitress was also very kind. I like this hotel it’s beautiful inside and the staff making it warm and cozy perfect place to stay for a night in Detroit.
