Great stay they literally thought of everything you needed in the loft, communication was everything quick response house keeping was pleasant and quick with requests, however did not care for parking the lot next to building, was extremely expensive $20 on the weekend had to pay everytime you left out no way! Please buy the parking lot will save your guest money and convenience

Great down town location but, if your not from around here and don’t have a vehicle it makes it tough. The ceiling walls are thin so you hear everything going on above you. The bed is comfortable and it’s nice having a furnished kitchen. Would stay again if I needed to.

Family came from Canada to Detroit to watch an NHL. Easy to find as soon as we crossed the border and perfect walking distance to Little Caesar’s Arena. We will be back for a baseball game and football game and stay at this location. Excellent communication throughout

This property was exactly what we were looking for! The location made walking to multiple attractions easy and quick. We felt safe when entering and exiting the building and didn't find noise an issue in our 10th floor room. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone seeking a no frills, affordable place to stay for a night or 2 in downtown Detroit!

The shower door was hung improperly and seemed ready to shatter (it's glass on glass). The shower in general wasn't installed well (floor was soft). We were asked for money nearly every time we entered the building by beggars. It didn't feel unsafe, but not super welcoming either. Otherwise the room was clean and spacious and a good value. Close to fun downtown activities and amenities.

Ok. The AI bot won’t let me put prices in the review. So….The property itself was fine. It was clean and there were some nice touches: ear plugs, new kitchen sponge, white noise machine in the bedroom, etc. Text messaging communication was good. There were two things that were not so great: the convenience store next door had sketchy people hanging out who panhandled us whenever we came or went. The WORST thing was the parking lot (on the left as you face the building) which has a sign that says “$One Andrew Jackson Parking” but when I asked to park my car for less than 48 hours, the guy said “That will be eight Andrew Jackson’s.”I asked about the sign and he mumbled that the sign was for something else….whatever. The dude was just trying to rip off out-of-towners. I can’t say that I would stay there again. It’s a shame that a good building/operation is in such a seedy area.

Pull out mattress was broken. Many things in the room are getting worn down and on the verge of breaking. There were no blankets or pillows for the pullout. None in the supply closet in the hallway where we met several other people also looking. Great location tho. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and be close to all the action, this is still a good choice.

We loved this property. Was perfect for our family of 5. I wish parking were a little easier/more affordable. I loved the overnight security as there is a small 7-11 where a lot of people tend to hang out at night.

No sheets the first night!
For the most part everything was ok. Your typical cheap hotel experience. However— it was a big issue that one of the beds had no sheets on our first night. The pull out specifically. Which was really annoying considering that the pullout is listed as a bed on the booking site and we were asked multiple times through booking process how many guests were staying. When we arrived we contacted the hotel about the issue and were told where we could locate sheets in the building. A few of the floors have storage closets. Unfortunately— there were no sheets left in any of the closets. Because there is no staff on site, this meant all communication was happening through a chat bot and long story short, no sheets came on the first night. Just robotic apologies via text. We ended up going to Target and bought our own sheets so one of us could sleep comfortably. It was kind of cold in the hotel and there wasn’t even a single extra blanket in the room. Even crappy motels usually have that. The next morning someone knocked on our door and dropped off sheets. A little late for that. I guess now we know that this is the downside of booking at a virtually-run hotel.
