The structure of the shower was interesting and unique. I love a good standing shower. I was also reminded by Aaron the shuttle escorted me to the airport. I guess I missed that when I booked so I was happy to save money on a taxi.

The shuttle from the airport took 40 minutes and two calls. The tide was filled with excuses as was the check in. The area around the hotel is under construction and not easy to walk around: even though the restaurant says there are vegetarian options there are really only salads, hummus, and cheese quesadilla. It was touted much nicer than it actually is,

Expedia costumers seem to get the furthest, and noisiest rooms. By the elevator or out by ice machine. Coffee maker didn’t work in the room and the “free” coffee in the lobby at 7:30 am was from the day before. Like warm at best Unacceptable for an airport hotel. Smaller hotels always have coffee in the lobby. Pick those!!

Getting through to an operator by phone to request shuttle pick up at DTW Mc Namara terminal took 1 hr and 4 attempts as the phone option was not being answered. Room was cleaned only once for a 4 night stay despite requesting a full service for sheets and towel change and vacuuming. The response from mgr was that the housekeeper was missing in action. However I did accept a free breakfast which was good, due to the lack of service. Access to a microwave and chilled water by the coffee shop was convenient. The pool was cold and there was no hot tub.

Hotels . Com is the worse third party company you can ever trust and there service is not professional, the hotel is not included in my review and I think the questions should include the company who did the reservation I purchased the stay the night I was traveling and the price was the same if I realized it’s the the hotel website which I will in the future but when I arrived at the hotel they told me there is no payments made on the reservation and they have tried to call to follow up with Hotels.con but they never returned the calls and when I tried to call they have me on the phone forever waiting for them to pay the night where I informed the customer service for my 7 hours stay to take a break before my next flight

More light!
Please consider adding more overhead lighting. While the lamps work for ambient lighting, there was only a short-term (auto shut off) overhead by the door, and it was just enough light to get to a lamp by the bed or window. I had a terrible time seeing in the front hall area to pack up my belongings. I did appreciate the roominess.
