I was offered a room close to or away from the elevator. I said it didn’t matter. We got a room across from the elevators. You hear the dinging every time the door opens, which is often. Big mistake not to say away from the elevator.

The location and the atmosphere of the location is great, but just like every other hotel we are getting less service at a higher rate. There is no linen change for a multiple night stay, no complimentary bottle water in the rooms, no complimentary parking for hotel guest nor is there complimentary breakfast. I don't understand how a lesser valued hotel offers complimentary breakfast to it's patrons and the more costly hotels offer no complimentary anything at a ridiculous rate. It's price gouging at it's finest!!! An the patron suffers.
