I stayed here because it’s pet friendly. What wasn’t friendly was the staff harassing me about my small dog. When I checked in I told the woman I had a dog with me (because I knew about the $25/day pet policy) and I told her she could charge it to the card on file. Later, I’m bringing in my dogs crate and an employee helped me with the door. 15 minutes later I had the maid knock on my door and say “so and so saw you bringing in dog stuff. If you have a dog you need to go up front and pay for it” obviously I was irritated because I already did this when I checked in. I was busy so I ignored her request. The next day when I come back to let me dog out on mg lunch hour she again rudely said “did you pay for that dog yet???” First off, why is it the maids business?? I didn’t appreciate feeling like the staff thought I was trying to get away with sneaking a dog in. I was up front about it. I went to the front and it turns out they already had it in the system that I had a pet but it wasn’t paid for yet. Not my problem that the lady who checked me in didn’t do what she was supposed to. Also I felt like my room was very motel like and I was shocked considering this is in a very nice area. I wouldn’t ever recommend this hotel.
