The staff was very rude, $100 refundable deposit or a non refundable $25 convenience fee that isn’t known until you arrive, floors were falling through and a cockroach fell from my doorway. Staff kept my ID and I had to go back for it. Lots of loiterers and very noisy.

First and foremost, the hotel is not in Ferndale it’s across the street from Detroit. I can’t believe that Expedia would allow this property to be listed in a location that it does not reside in. The only reason I’ve booked this hotel is because I know Ferndale is a safe area. For 30 minutes I stood at check-in, watching two sets of guests, argue and curse with the check in person behind glass. That should tell you the level of crime in the area. The sink in the bathroom had a rusting completely around the drain. If it weren’t so late, I clearly would not have ever check into this place. I just didn’t think I could find some where else so late. I checked out before 6:45 AM the next morning. Expedia, you are doing your customers a disservice by not checking all the properties. I consider this property to be very very unsafe.

1 pillow Broken toilet paper holder A have used toilet paper roll Missing wall outlet as a hole in the wall Cigarette burn marks on the bed cover Broken bathroom fan cover on the floor Extremely loud hallways A ton of people just smoking weed outside that are hanging out and do not even stay at the hotel Yelling in the hallway or outside from 1am-4am. Stained pillow case Stained or dirty towels No mini fridge Absolutely the worst place I ever had the displeasure of staying in.

Too much uncontrolled rif-raf just outside the lobby. Rooms smelled like nicotine. One could say that those things are to be expected because of the price.. but every place of business should have minimum standards. I will say, the staff was clear and concise about the rules, and was friendly.

We did not stay. I feared for my safety. The place was disgusting and we only attempted because we were in a panic to find a place to stay, but we drove the 3 hours back home instead. This place needs leveled.

Needed a close place for my husband to stay seeing I had major neck surgery at Ascension Providence Hospital on 10-14-2024 secured the room online 10-10-2024 using DEBIT card “site states debit cards accepted” Around 7:20 PM my husband gets to the hotel, goes to check in, FD tells him no, debit cards are not accepted, you need a credit card to stay here. So he calls me, I most definitely am not in the mood at this point in arguing with any hotel employee after just having this surgery, so I pay threw PayPal, well now he is charged a 25.00 non refundable deposit on top of the 62.00 for this room. Needless to say, the hotel should have a health inspection. Rats outside bigger than our damn cats, holes in the walls, filthy shower bathroom etc, toilet seat not attached to toilet, what a joke. I worked in the hotel industry for 11 years as AEH, and these conditions are unexceptable. I understand, you get what you pay for, but damn, the hospital parking lot would have been cleaner and more accommodating. Definitely steer clear of this place, unless you have zero standards for cleanliness. He had to shower at the hospital in the morning. What does that tell ya. NASTY.

This hotel was filthy! After examining our room and taking many photos of all the things in disrepair and/or dirty, we returned to the front desk and were given another room. Unfortunately, this room was just as bad if not worse. We returned to the front desk and did not end up staying at this property. This was awful, and should not be listed on Expedia.
