Night staff had better things to do rather than check travelers into their booked rooms. Room was stuffy (smelt moldy), bathroom door did not close completely (was warped). Website room photos did not match reality.

No bags were provided for our wet swimming suits:-( no hand soap in the room. Didn't care for the walk from the cottage to the pool in the cold fall evening.. we have staid here before and really enjoyed it before . Not quite as much this time but still a nice place to stay

The most unique thing about this hotel would have to be Carol Ann the cat. We happened to stay on Halloween and everyone was dressed up. But Carol Ann the cat is the take it to the next level kind of employee. Funny, interactive, helpful, and just an all around good person. So if you're deciding between this hotel and another because they cost the same and are rated the same then pull the trigger here because the staff alone give it that extra kick
