The Space:
The townhouse is modern and has over 1,000 sq. ft of space. The garage is the lowest level; with the kitchen, dining area, living room, and half bath above. You will find the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms on the top floor. Please note, you must climb a flight of stairs between each level.

You have access to each room in the townhouse, including the bedroom closets and laundry area.

The Neighborhood:
The Ingersoll Avenue corridor is on the edge of downtown Des Moines. You are within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, parks and entertainment venues.

Only 1 mile from I-235, you have easy access to everything in the Des Moines metro. Including West Des Moines, eastern Polk County, and even Iowa State University in Ames. For those visiting from out of state, the townhouse is a short 8 minute drive from Des Moines International Airport.

Nearby Gray's Lake Park is a favorite for runners and cyclists. There you will find a connection to the most popular trails in central Iowa. Including the Meredith, Bill Riley, Neal Smith, and Des Moines River trails.

You are close to all of downtown Des Moines' major attractions. Wells Fargo Arena, Iowa State Fairgrounds, Drake University, Civic Center are within 10 minutes’ drive. Stop by the historic East Village to find wonderful local restaurants, boutiques, bars, and the Iowa State Capitol. Visit the Sculpture Park and Des Moines Art Center to view modern and historic works. Enjoy a performance at Hoyt Sherman Place and a tour of the Iowa Governor's Mansion.

Getting Around:
Since you are only 1 mile from I-235, you have easy access to everything in the Des Moines metro.

A DART bus stop is located south of the property on Ingersoll Avenue. There are also bike lanes in the area.

Quick Holiday Weekender
Had a Great time at John’s place. Everything was clean, beds were very comfy, and it is in such a great location. Less than 10 min from airport and 5 min from downtown. Couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here.

Family Thanksgiving
We spent Thanksgiving weekend here with our four college kids, as one of them goes to Grinnell College and did not want to spend time traveling back to Michigan for the short holiday weekend. The townhouse was very clean and perfect for our family. We will definitely stay here again!

The townhouse was clean and comfortable. There was a generous supply of coffee and tea, lots of extra towels and pillows. There are many restaurant options within a few blocks. It was great to have a 2-car garage for secure parking. We would stay here again and can recommend it without hesitation.

Great Location
We had an amazing time in Des Moines. This unit is in a great location - close to downtown and the airport. A garage was important to us as we were doing lots of antique shopping. Neighborhood was safe for us girls..... John was very responsive. Would rent this unit and from John again.
