Had an overnight stay in the barn conversion and it was perfect, clean warm and welcoming staff in the pub were very polite and breakfast was 1st class definitely consider returning.

Was late in arriving and recieved a phone call to see we were ok and needed directions and still coming. Warm welcome and bar open till 12 so we were able to get a drink and a snack.

It was perfect for us visiting family.... Rooms opposite pub.... Nice bar good beer and wine and food..... Parking outside room... Would stay again.... Easy walk into Melbourne so very convenient.

Old pub set in a lovely area. good car park. Locals in the bar very friendly. Plenty of advice about where to go for walks and things to see. Only stayed one night. Bed was very comfortable. Shower could have been cleaner but lots of hot water. Just had something to eat from the bar menu. Usual stuff. Enjoyed my stay.

If I had too, I'd stay again!
I booked a double room for one night as I was going to Donnington the fellowing day. We got to the hotel for around 6pm. No food was being served and nowhere local doing food. Manage to get something using Just eat after walking around for an hour or so. The room I had looked nothing like the photo apart from it had two beds. The room had spiders all over the place and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a few days with bits of dirt on the window ledge. It felt quiet cold in the room and from what I could see no way to warm it up. The bed mattress was flatter than a pancake and not very comfortable at all. The shower was no more than a trickle at best. On a plus the pub itself is very nice with friendly staff and locals. Has a good amount of parking available. And only a 5 min drive to Donnington.
